ELARD and LDK for Management Consulting LLC are providing consulting
services for the project “Strategic Environmental and Social Assessment (SESA)
Study for the Draft National Integrated Solid Waste Strategy”, funded by The
World Bank Group and implemented by the Council for Development and
Reconstruction (CDR).
In line with Decree 8013 of 2012, four consultation workshops are scheduled across four key regions in Lebanon at the scoping phase: Beirut and Mount Lebanon; North and Akkar; South and Nabatiyeh; and Bekaa and Baalbek-Hermel. The dates and locations can be found in the invitation below.
Following are links to the executive summaries of the updated National Integrated Solid Waste Management Strategy (NISWMS), the Draft Master Plan, and the SESA Scoping Report developed so far. Kindly note that these are draft working documents that are still subject to review and consultation. Your comments and questions are welcome; you can use the form below to upload your comments and suggestions on the summaries. These will be taken into consideration during the revision of the summaries and full reports.
