Strategic Environmental and Social
Assessment (SESA) Study for the Draft National Integrated Solid Waste Strategy
of Lebanon
LDK for Management Consulting LLC and ELARD are providing consulting
services for the project “Strategic Environmental and Social Assessment (SESA)
Study for the Draft National Integrated Solid Waste Strategy of Lebanon”, funded by The World Bank Group and implemented
by the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR) in partnership with the
Ministry of Environment (MoE).
In line with Decree 8213 of 2012, four consultation workshops were
scheduled across the four main regions in Lebanon at the scoping phase and the
SESA phase: Beirut and Mount Lebanon; North and Akkar; South and Nabatiyeh; and
Bekaa and Baalbek-Hermel.
Stakeholders’ comments were answered and taken into consideration in the
reports where applicable, as reflected in Scoping and SESA Proceedings.
